I’m taking a QUICK break from the Flair DVD to get an episode of this done so it should be funny to go from a ***** Flair/Race match to this.
We are being brought to you from the Fresno Center in CA.
-Typhoon vs. Razor Ramon-
Wow, two non-jobbers fighting each other on a Wrestling Challenge. What a surprise. Of course it has to be Typhoon fighting Ramon instead of someone who is, I don’t know, GOOD. Ramon trash talks to Typhoon to start then we head to a lock up which Typhoon quickly breaks by shoving Ramon to the ground. Ramon takes over with a quick kick to the gut and a headlock, but Typhoon breaks it by sending Razor to the ropes then shoulderblocking him down. Mr. Perfect makes his way outside to the stage entrance as Typhoon applies a full nelson. Ramon breaks it by stepping between the ropes. Ramon wants a test of strength but as Typhoon lifts his hand, Ramon punches him in the face. Ramon then uses the ropes to choke Typhoon and then sends him to the ground and uses his foot to drive it into Typhoon’s throat. Razor works over Typhoon in the corner but an Irish whip is reversed by Typhoon and Typhoon hits a big splash on Ramon in the corner. He throws Ramon across the ring then bodyslams. He follows with an Avalanche in the corner and Ramon is dead on the ground. Typhoon tries for a splash but Ramon gets up. Ramon drops two elbows on Typhoon and that gets the pin? Match lasted 3:55 for those wondering, and I THINK that’ll be the only match I keep the time of. This match sucked by the way, but oddly enough, was longer than most matches you’d see on Raw nowadays. ¼*. Afterwards, Ramon challenges Perfect to come down to the ringside and Perfect comes down. Ramon slaps Perfect then takes a chair and puts it into Perfect’s abdomen. Perfect fights back and they end up brawling as we head to commercial break

Razor and Perfect are apparently still going at it backstage
-The Nasty Boys vs. Brian West/Dave Starr-
I was so tempted to put Boyz before. Thanks WWE. Sags starts off and immediately hits a neckbreaker then follows with a legdrop. Knobbs comes in and clothesline the jobber. The jobber gets the equivalent of today’s Stink Face, the Pit Stop. See, the Nasty’s would take their opponents head and rup it into the armpit of whatever member of the tag team was on the apron. Anyways, Sags hits a bulldog and Knobbs hits a running powerslam followed by a Sags elbowdrop for three. Total squash. The jobbers didn’t even get any offense and I can’t recall if the other jobber even tagged in. DUD.
We go to Alfred Hayes for a special report. We go to the Hacksaw/Yokozuna feud that set the world on fire. All of a sudden, my tape STARTS FASTFOWARDING. My VCR was sensing how restless I was getting with this after watching the Flair DVD and fast fowarded the tape itself!
I skip something while FFWDing but I don’t feel like rewinding.
-Doink vs. some Jobber-
CRUSH is coming back next week!! See, Doink was picking on some kids at ringside and Crush, who was coming down for a match, grabbed Doink’s arm so he’d stop. The next week, during a Crush match, Doink came out ringside with a his arm in a sling. After Crush won, he walked towards the back and after he passed Doink, Doink took a loaded cast out of the sling and clobbered Crush with it. As I type this, Doink wins with a submission where he sits over the guy and pulls his leg up. By the way, Heenan was saying that Doink looks familiar, which he also did last week. I wonder if that was supposed to be an angle where Doink is revealed to be someone in Heenan’s family or something? Any clues, readers?
We hype the house show at the Hartford Civic Center. Bret, Kamala/Rev. Slick and Kimchee/Whippleman cut promos and then Bossman talks about Headlock on Hunger
Mean Gene hypes Wrestlemania
-Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Buddy Wayne-
This was pre-Luna Vachon Bigelow, though I think she was there by the time WM rolled around. I hit FFWD and see that Bammer wins with a flying head drop from the top. They show highlights of the match too, just in case I missed it. A dropkick, a suplex into a powerslam and a flying head drop. Thanks WWF.
-Vince McMahon sit down interview with Brutus Beefcake-
Ok, so Brutus was seriously injured 2 years ago in a parasailing accident where he needed reconstructive surgery on his face and needed plates and screws put in. Brutus will make his comeback against Ted Dibiase the next week on Raw, and I think we all know what happens there. If not, ask and I will review THAT Raw. Check the
WEBSITE!. Interview was basically nothing but to hype his Raw return.
More looking back on the Giant Gonzalez/Undertaker feud.
-Undertaker vs. Jobber (not even introduced)-
I doubt this’ll even go a minute. I was a huge Undertaker mark back in the day (from his debut to about 94). I’m not now though, so don’t worry. The jobber gets chokeslammed and a tombstone finishes it. See, didn’t even last a minute. The jobber gets the bodybag treatment, which I almost COMPLETELY forgot that he did.
More hype for the househow and MORE PROMOS!!! Mr. Perfect! Razor Ramon! STAY TUNED! NEXT WEEK WE HAVE HIGH ENERGY VS. MONEY INC!
Total Yawner this week, the worst of the 3 I’ve seen so far. Ah forget about it, I’m heading back to the Flair DVD.
