Hello,

I am writing this as I watch the replay of WWF's Summerslam. After the first viewing I was very, VERY impressed with the PPV. Now I will go match by match as I view it the second time.

RTC vs Too Cool- Well, I couldn't think of anything to write during the match, it was an average mactj, and I believe a good way to start off a PPV. I would like to say Steven missed his Stevie Kick, ah well, better luck next time.

Chyna/Eddie vs Trish and Val- This was a very well done match IMO. I liked it. I think that it was a very smart move on WWF's part to take that title away from Val. And as for Chyna winning, I am okay with that. I think she will be a better champ than Val, as Chyna actually gets a crowd reaction.

X-Pac vs Road Dogg- Actually I missed this match both times, I was taking a piss. Well, X-pac won a meaningless match. Honestly though, this match wasn't really that bad. At least I started off the night 3 for 3 in my predictions (it only goes downhill unfortunately).

Tazz- Lawler- Wow, I can't believe Tazz lost. At least it wasn't a clean loss, JR did get involved. It was a pretty good match though, I might say. I smell a rematch.

Blackman vsa Shane- JESUS CHRISTMAS DID YOU SEE THAT FALL!! I was simply amazed Shane-o Mac took that fall. That alone makes this an excellent match. And the fact we have back a deserving champ makes it this much better (even though I have now gone 0-2 in the last two matches).

Y2J vs Benoit- I liked this match too. It was better than I expected. These two really know how to put on a great match. Very technical stuff. I think this match was one where I am pleased with the outcome (no matter who wins) because the match was that damn good. Very good match. I wouldn't mind seeing more of these.

TLC Match- WOW, we all knew this match would be the best (and it was) but did we know it'd be this good? I didn't. I think it far exceeded the WM 2000 match between the 3. THe bumps that Jeff, Matt and Bubba Ray took through the table were simply amazing, and the rest pf the action was also very noteworthy. Overall the best match of the night, even though the only heel tag team involved won.

Kat vs Terri- The match for the guys in the audience. Not much to say except I broke out of my 0-4 slump. Really, I can't think of anything important coming from tis match except a Al Snow Perry Saturn fued. Match was decent, a filler between the TLC and brother match.

Kane vs Taker- Another overall solid match. This wasn't going to be your technical match, oh no. It was a , as JR says, a slobberknocker. I enjoyed this match, Kane is finally unmasked, but we don't really see his face, which is a great thing for the WWF to keep his face hidden. Solid match.

Main Event- I think Kurt was injured, it's true it's true. I think he really got his head banged up when the table broke to soon. I think that HHH and Rock were very good in the ring, and I enjoyed that part. When Kurt came back I was hoping he could win, but that didn't happen. I'd say this was one of the top 3 matches of the night.

Okay now to Kurt Angle. I really think he was injured, and if he wasn't, I'd like to quote the poetic statement Billy said, " if Kurt didnt get a concussion, he is some f***ing actor." Very well put Billy. I must agree. Here is some evidence: First when Kurt fell, HHH was talking to Kurt, and seemd to wait a long time, not even hitting Kurt again. He seemed shocked too at what happened. Second, Kurt's eyes seemed glazed over, like how one's eyes looked when getting a concusison (trust me I watch a lot of hockey, and can tell when one's got their bell rung). Third, Kurt really seemed too much out of it when he returned to the ring. Fourth- When Angle was getting pinned by the Rock, notice how Hebner's hand brushed Angle's back after the two count to "tell" Kurt he needs to kick out. Fifth- The referees and HHH looked very concerned when Kurt was being taken to the back, and HHH kept glancing back at Kurt when he was being brought away to see if Kurt was coming back.

That is all my thoughts on Angle. If he really was acting, he deserves an Oscar.

Overall, I think this was one of the best WWF PPV's this year, rivaled only by Royal Rumble. The matches were very solid top to bottom, with very very few low points (Hell even the Road Dogg/ X-Pac match wasn't that bad). I'd have to give this Summerslam high marks for being very entertaining with some Excellent matches, and some very good matches. I think this Summerslam deserves a 95. It is an A, very close to perfection.

Well, I'll see you tomorrow after Raw with Raw impressions. Until then, Have a Nice Day!
