Hey guys, welcome back to the newest edition of the Mandible Column, found exclusively here at Olympicslam.com. I really don't know what exactly to talk about right now, so I think I'll just throw out some random ideas on some wrestlers.

Val Venis- Wow, I read somewhere that WWF is happy with his progress and where he's at now. That seems crazy. The Fruit of the Looms poster boy comes out week after week with absolutely no pop or heat, and that is with Trish Straus accompanying him to the ring! He needs to lose that belt ASAP! He needs a new gimmick/angle.

Kurt Angle- Has anyone risen as fast as Angle ever in WWF history? It may be hard to find someone else (possibly Deisel, but no one else pops directly into my head.) I mean Kurt seemingly came from nowhere in Survivor Series 99 and when he asked the crowd, " How can you people boo me? I'm an Olympic Hero," I knew I was going to be a fan of this guy. He really impressed me, not only with wrestling ability but with superb mic skills and a lot of charisma. He has already won the European and IC Belts, and I think we may see Kurt win at Summerslam to complete a rare hat trick of belts. I think WWF has done a great job with Kurt, and Kurt has done a spectacular job in the WWF.

Tazz- Honestly, I never really liked Tazz, even before he attacked JR and the King. I think the WWF brought him in and used him very poorly. He made his entrance at Royal Rumble 2000 and defeated Angle, but after that, he JOBBED a lot, and could never grab hold of that Hardcore Belt, which would have been great to see it around his waist. When he was injured I actually think it was better for Tazz. He could get a fresh start in the WWF with the whole "thug-life" gimmick. I think Tazz could be in the IC division soon, and if used properly could do some good things in the WWF.

The Bushwhackers- Okay they are not wrestling anymore, but they were awesome. Jimmy told me before all they had was that walk, and that is true, but they were definitely a crowd favorite. I watched a PPV with them in it and it brought back memories.

HHH- This guy has been just incredible in the WWF since Armageddon 1999. He's been the best WWF wrestler during the early part of 2000 and his matches with Mick Foley were just unbelievable. I think that after Summerslam he should take it easy for a while and heel, I mean heal up. I predict the best is yet to come for this man.

Lita- No, I won't write anything mentioning how incredibly hot she is, but I will write about her wrestling skills. She has singlehandedly brought back interest in the women's division in the WWF. Her high flying moves impressed lots of people (including me) and she has really blossomed since leaving Essa Rios. On a side note, she performed one of the best hurricanranas I have ever seen when she did that to Test at the Sunday Night Heat 6 person tag a few months ago (7/02 I believe) There's big things in her future.

Well, my space is up for today. I will be back Monday with Summerslam impressions (which I will write during the Summerslam replay I'm sure), and if anyone wants to drop me a line about anything in the WWF, like your comments on my writing, or even to inquire about trading tapes (see my profile), any E-mails are welcome. So until we meet again... Have a Nice Day!
