Hello, welcome to today's Mandible Column where I'll talk about my reaction to Raw is War, and a few other things. First off though, I'd like to reveal the tally of how our columnists fared in their FL predictions. The winner this month is none other than, Billy. He got 5/7 (or 6/8 because he told me his guess before on the Guerrero/Saturn match)right, good going Bill. Coming in second are me and the Good Looking guy, both with 5/8 ( i too correctly predicted Saturn's win). The big LOSER this month was Jimmy, who only got 3/7 (I didn't hear his Guerro/Saturn prediction). Well Jimmy better luck next month. Okay now on to Raw is War.

I thought Raw is War was solid. There was some new things I liked, but also we saw more of the same old stuff we've seen the past few months. I was pleased that it seems as if Road Dogg and X-Pac are being broken up into singles matches. I hope it stays that way for now. I also like the new Shane McMahon family. This is like that old-school wrestling Billy talked about in his column. Remember when guys like Hart and Heenan had huge families of wrestlers? That was great. Shane's family will definitely cause some problems in the very near future. Just think, Benoit, Big Show, Angle and maybe Raven when he arrives being together as a team! That'd definitely be an awesome heel family. But speaking of this family, why is Big Show back with Shane-o Mac? Wasn't it just a month ago that Shane himself took out the Big Show? Maybe that cinderblock to the head at that match made Big Show forget that Shane dropped that thing on his leg. Ah well.

How about Commissioner Foley, making Ms. McMahon-Helmsley "wrestle" tonight. Don't mess with the hardcore legend. That was great, except for that predictable part where Trish would come running out. It sucks to be Lita, she is getting beat up over and over, and can never seem to get the better of Trish. Sure, she pinned her at least twice so far, but after both times got her ass handed to her by one of Trish's cronies. At least we saw Steph get thrown around a bit. The strap match was also predictable as everyone knew Lita had no hope to win. Hey I am not complaining though, we got to see on the same night both Trish and Lita get their shirt taken off! This angle will probably continue until Summerslam where we'll see an unbelievable evening gown match.

The matches themselves were solid too. I liked Angle attacking the American Badass like that. This may push him over the top and have him going from one of those funny heels (like HHH was in the original DX) to a real hated heel (like HHH now). And putting him with the company of Shane was a smart move by the WWF bookers. The Road Dogg/Blackman match was decent, some cool things done with a trash can lid, but didn't it seem as if Road Dogg was telling Steve to cover him after Blackman kicked the chair in Dogg's face? The Godfather/Bull match was interesting. It may be me, but I really like Steven Richards and his new angle. It is really funny, and such a mockery of the PTC. But really how long will the no pimping thing last? The WWF has just hired hoes to accompany them around the US so something will happen where Godfather will say it's his 1st Amendment right to pimp, as King says we can have a raw w/o a ring but not w/o hoes! The match wasn't too bad either. Finally, Bull has found the right angle and can showcase his better than average wrestling ability. Bull could really blossom w/ Steven where Bull doesn't have to talk and just wrestle (kind of like Virgil when he was with Ted Dibiase).

The tag match I thought was good, but it was pretty short. But didn't I see these 3 teams fight at Wrestlemania 16? Either way, I really enjoy watching these 3 teams fight, I don't think it's gotten old, yet. These are the biggest teams right now in the WWF and they deserve it. They always give their all when they fight. I think that any one of these teams deserve the straps. I also like the cheap victories the two Canadians are getting. It's like those victories the heels of the 80's got (man I've referred to old-time wrestling 3 times so far this column. It must be b/c of that Olympian Corner column).

*Random Raw Thoughts:

-Hmmm, continuing HHH vs Y2J.... Could work, but can they have another match as good as the one at Fully Loaded?

-Scottie Too Hottie vs Tazz, I wonder who will win? or I wonder who will run in? Seriously, this was soooooooo predictable.

-Mick Foley is really clever, has this guy ever cut a bad promo as the commish?

-Who else squirted a tear when HHH threw the flowers Steph gave him?

-Overall though it was a good Raw and one of the best in recent weeks. The WWF tried some new things, like the Shane Family, and breaking up DX, and they are continuing the great Lita/Trish feud. Hopefully, the WWF shows continue to build up their programming.

That's all for now, so Have a Nice Day!
