Heroes Season 1
Well, the premiere was two weeks ago today and there've been two episodes aired prior to my review of Heroes Season 1 being posted on the website but don't worry. I actually finished the review a week and a half ago and I finished all the episodes well in advance of season 2's debut. It just took a while to watch all the commentaries. By the way, it is Columbus Day which means I am off from work today (YAY!) Work has been awesome this year (so far) and I hope it continues. I am bringing home no work and the kids are pretty good. I am currently working on Seinfeld Season 8 and I hope to have it posted in about two weeks. The Yankees are on the verge of elimination tonight and I hope they can pull it off. The Rangers are 1-1 with a really good win and a really boring loss. That's all I have to say for today. Hopefully it won't be a month before I post again!

American Dad 10/14/07
I thought last night's episode was pretty weak overall. Basically, Stan meets a guy who is exactly like him and they quickly become friends. Stan learns this friend is an atheist and tries what any normal man would do to turn him towards God. He wrecks his life, takes away his home, his business and his family so he has no place to turn but God. Think it worked? Nah, the guy commits suicide, goes to hell, and gets sent back to do spread the word of the devil. That main storyline just seemed too forced and the jokes weren't clicking. The sub-story of Roger trying sending Steve to what Steve thinks is Hogwarts but is really a cocaine producer was great. Steve thinks this "potion-making" is great and even brings some home to practice at home. The drug dealer are pretty pissed and come in guns a-blazing. Roger stops them but Steve thinks his spells did it! I liked the way they poked fun at Harry Potter. Overall, I'd give this episode about a B.

Seinfeld Volume 7
After a long layoff, I am finally back with a completed DVD review. These TV series kill me and my productivity I tell ya! This time up we have the penultimate volume of Seinfeld, which covers Season 8. It was an odd year for the show to say the least and you can read all about it in the review found here. Other than that, there's not much going on. The TPL is still chugging along and I am working on a 300 DVD review as I type this. I may post a review of the Heroes TV show but I usually forget until it's the day of the new show so we'll see. Maybe I'll throw up some Rangers comments later on too. Anyway, this post is all about the DVD review and we'll leave it at that.
